GLOBAL FINANCIAL FIRM

The client is a global financial firm with its key disaster recovery and data center operations located in Princeton, NJ.  The firm chose PowerCon to provide design and commissioning services for the replacement of the cooling towers supporting the 3,600-ton central chilled water plant.  Key project goals included increasing the overall energy efficiency and resiliency of the system.  The project was successfully completed without interrupting the facility operation.

In addition to providing complete MEP design services for the phased replacement of the cooling towers, PowerCon also prepared the application to receive funding through participation in the NJ Clean Energy Program.  Our responsibilities also included commissioning each of the cooling towers following replacement, as well as the system as whole in both summer and free-cooling operation.
