A large Technology Firm looking to expand its presence in New York City retained PowerCon as the Commissioning Agent for the buildout of approximately 700,000SF across two buildings.  The project included building out office space, Event Space, technology rooms, kitchens and cafeterias and entailed performing LEED Enhanced Commissioning with the goal of achieving a LEED Platinum certification.

The scope of work included:

• New water-cooled AC units

• Tenant Dedicated Condenser Water System 

• Installation of tenant Generator and Fuel Transfer System

• Multiple commercial kitchens all equipped with demand-controlled exhaust systems and make-up air units

• New gas-fired domestic water heaters 

• Installation of new Automatic Transfer Switches

• Installation of new curtain wall system on existing buildings

• New Computer Room Air Conditioning (CRAC) units supporting MDF/IDF Closets

• Integrated Systems Testing at the conclusion of construction
