Following the purchase of an aged, suburban campus in New Jersey, PowerCon was hired as the Commissioning Agent for the complete overhaul of the complex, complete with the renovation or new construction of nearly 400,000SF, inclusive of open office, amenity spaces, kitchen/cafeteria, computer rooms, fitness center, childcare and additional support spaces across multiple buildings.  

The scope of work included:

• New chilled water Air Handling Units

• New Energy Recovery Ventilators

• New Cooling Towers and rebuild of Water-cooled Chillers

• New Pre-action Fire Protection Systems

• Installation of commercial kitchen with demand-controlled exhaust system

• Installation of new Automatic Transfer Switches

• Installation of new curtain wall system on existing buildings

• Restoration, maintenance and testing of 13.2kV switchgear, 34.5kV switchgear, substation transformers and 13.2kV generator
